Terry Alan Crews was born in Flint, Michigan on the 30th of July, 1968. His parents are Terry Crews Senior and Patricia Crews. He grew up in a Christian household in Flint and was mainly raised by his mother. His father was an alcoholic.

He earned a scholarship at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Crews scholarship followed another; a football scholarship at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.

Terry Crews was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1991 and pursued his football career after that before he started his career as an actor in 1997.

He started his early career as an actor in 1997 when he retired from his football career. Crews took on the role of T-Money on the TV action show ‘Battle Dome’ (1999).

That same year, Crews made his big-screen debut when he starred in ‘The 6th Day’, ‘Serving Sara’ (2002), ‘Friday After Next’ (2002) and ‘Deliver Us From Eva’ (2003).
