Friends and families of Dr. Jennifer Mary Arnold have given funds to offer a scholarship to embark on a degree coursework research project at Murdoch University or the University of Western Australia. The research is required to encourage and assist a qualified high-achieving candidate to acquire a better understanding of the natural environment and its value.

This scholarship requires you to provide the following documents:

  • a research proposal abstract (max 2500 words) covering:
    • the hypothesis
    • background
    • aims and objectives
    • significance and outcomes
  • your curriculum vitae
  • a concise statement (at most 300 words) addressing the eligibility requirements

International Awards at Queensland University of Technology in Australia 2021

The Queensland University of Technology is providing international awards for international students to apply for Science (Honours) degree coursework at the Institution.

The scholars will receive $10,000 for one year, paid in two installments of $5,000 at the Queensland University of Technology for the academic session 2021/2022.

You can submit an application for this scholarship award before you are notified of the outcome of your application for the Bachelor of Science (Honours), but you have to be offered a place in the honors degree and accept it to be eligible to get the scholarship.

Applications are currently invited for the Peter McGregor HDR Supplementary International Scholarship which will be provided to International students who are seeking to pursue a degree program at Australian National University.

International Awards at University of Queensland in Australia 2020

Applications are invited for international awards at the University of Queensland in the Development of a Mechanical Tensioner for Wave Energy Harvesting. The project is related to the growth of cutting-edge composite structures for a new Wave Energy Converter (WEC).

The Ph.D. program will be embarked on in the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering and the Centre for Advanced Materials Processing and Manufacturing (AMPAM). The program is part of the Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre (BE-CRC). The applicant will work directly with the industry members as part of a bigger team. Primary supervision and project lead is carried out by Dr. Michael Heitzmann.

Working knowledge of composite materials, processes, and manufacturing with specific knowledge in testing and durability would be of benefit to someone working on this project.
