Quavo’s real name is Quavious Keynote Marshall. He was born on the 2nd of April 1991, in Athens, Georgia. His mother is a hairdresser, and his father died when he was only 4. He grew up in Gwinnett County and attended Berkmar High School in Lilburn, Georgia.

Quavo played high school football and was his team’s quarterback. He is the oldest member of the group and the uncle to TakeOff, his sister’s son. Offset is his cousin. He released his debut solo album in October 2018 titled ‘Quavo Huncho’.

He started the group known as Polo Club (Then, later changed to Migos) with his nephew and cousin.

Offset’s real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus. He was born on the 14th December 1991, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He grew up in Gwinnett County as well as the other two members of the group. He is cousins with Quavo.

TakeOff is the youngest member of the group. His real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball and was born on the 18th June 1994, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, TakeOff is Quavo’s nephew.

He was also raised in Gwinnett County. The three were all raised by TakeOff’s mother, Quavo’s older sister.

Migos was formed in 2008 and was formerly called Polo Club. All three rappers grew up in the same suburban neighborhood Atlanta, approximately 40 minutes northeast of Downtown in Gwinnett County.

They released their debut mixtape titled ‘Juung Season’ on the 25 of August 2011. That was followed by their second mixtape, ‘No Label’ released on June 1, 2012.

The group began to gain recognition after the release of the single “Versace” in 2013. The song stood at #99 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. However, even at its position it still caught the attention of Canadian rapper, Drake, who further uplifted the single’s recognition more with his remix of the song.

The rap group went further to draw-in more attention with the release of the mixtape Y.R.N (Young Rich Niggas) on June 13, 2013, which top #74 on the Top R& B/Hip Hop Songs Chart which featured the lead single ‘Versace’.

On July 31, 2015, Migos released its debut studio album “Yung Rich Nation” featuring guest appearances from top artists such as pop singer Chris Brown, and rapper Young Thug. The album was assisted by young Australia producer Yifei Hechen.

After a long wait, the group released their long-anticipated single which went viral, talking about ‘Bad and Boujee’ on October 28, 2016. It spread like a virus and set them up for mainstream fame.

The song was the first single from their new album ‘Culture‘ and was ranked #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group’s second studio album titled, ‘Culture’ topped the Billboard Hot 200 chart on its debut.

The group third studio album, Culture II, was released in January 2018.
