In this modern age, to keep up with the very best studios in Hollywood, you would need to spend at least $150 million on a movie for it to be in the least profitable.

This low budget horror film turned out to be one of the big hits of 2017… It was the comedian Jordan Peele’s directorial debut, but based on the millions of dollars in revenue that it earned, the budget didn’t matter.
It was a hit with audiences and was also a hit with critics, who showered the film with praise. This low budget film earned $255 million worldwide.
